Our Mission: The purpose of Jesus Alive Ministries is to impact our community by taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. According to Matthew 25:35-36 we are also called to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and visit those who are imprisoned or ill. We also aim to disciple believers in the Word of God and how to apply it to their daily lives. Through the teaching and preaching of the inerrant Word of God, Jesus Alive Ministries intends to fulfill the command of Mark 16:15 to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Pastor Randy Davis, Jr. & Staff Meet Our Staff: Statement of Faith: We believe: The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is completely inerrant. It declares His design and perfect will for all mankind. We believe: There is only One true God revealed in the Trinity-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe: Jesus is the only begotten Son of God- holy, sinless, God in human form. We believe: All have sinned and have been separated from fellowship with God. We believe: That in order to have restored fellowship with God one must be born again through repentance (turning away from sin toward God) and the acceptance of Jesus taking the penalty of death in your place. We believe: In water baptism by full immersion after repenting of one's sins symbolizing the death of our sinful man, and the new birth experience in Christ. We believe: The gift of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is for every believer, empowering them to be a more effective witness and servant. And that the initial evidence of that baptism is speaking in tongues, as was experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout the book of Acts and ministry of the apostles. We believe: Sanctification begins at salvation but is a continual process throughout the believers life as separation from the world and drawing near to God lead us to become more and more like Christ. We believe: The church has been commanded to take the gospel to all who are lost in sin. We believe ‘the church' is made up of all those who have come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ . We believe: Divine healing of the sick through the laying on of hands is available to all who ask by faith, believing that by His strips we are healed. We believe: That Jesus will rapture (The Blessed Hope according to Titus 2:13) His church prior to His return to earth (the Second Coming). At this time the dead in Christ will rise from their graves and meet the Lord in the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord eternally. We believe: A final judgment will take place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged by the Word of God, and all those found to be lacking will be cast into the lake of fire, to be tormented for eternity. |
